Ferrari rental in Milan should match the allocated vehicle to the city, airport and onward route. Send REQUEST VIP your dates, Malpensa or Linate arrival, hotel, passengers, luggage, driver documents and planned countries. The concierge will seek Italian insurance, deposit, delivery and restricted-zone terms in writing, subject to verified local supply.

Key Facts

  • REQUEST VIP has not confirmed a Milan Ferrari fleet, supplier or published rates; every vehicle and commercial term needs a current check.
  • Milan's Area C is a central limited-traffic zone with electronic plate-reading gates and a paid access system for eligible vehicles.
  • The municipality currently states that Area C normally operates Monday to Friday, 07:30–19:30, excluding public holidays; rules must be rechecked for the rental dates.
  • Malpensa, Linate, private aviation, hotels and central restricted streets require different meeting and access plans.
  • REQUEST VIP is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or an official partner of Ferrari S.p.A.

Available Ferrari models

Choose by journey. A compact two-seat configuration can suit a couple driving from Milan with carefully limited bags. A convertible needs a weather and roof-storage plan. A more touring-oriented car may be preferable for multiple days towards Lake Como, the Alps or the Riviera. City width, ground clearance and garage ramps matter as much as performance.

The proposal should identify model, year, Italian or other registration, colours, roof type, seats, luggage guidance and recent images of the allocated unit. It should confirm whether that registration can enter the planned zones and whether an alternative car is permitted. A generic “Ferrari or similar” line is unsuitable unless the client approves named substitutes.

Review the parent Ferrari rental service or compare categories through the luxury car rental service. This page focuses on Ferrari-specific capacity, clearance and Italian contract checks.

Delivery in Milan

Specify Malpensa, Linate, Bergamo if relevant, an FBO, hotel, residence, office or supplier depot. “Airport delivery” is not automatically terminal-curb or airside service. The confirmation should name the terminal or private facility, legal meeting point, contact, waiting allowance and delayed-flight procedure. A hotel within Area C needs a plate and access plan before dispatch.

Historic streets, courtyards and underground garages can be narrow or controlled. Confirm the allocated car's width, ground clearance, ramp angle and bay dimensions, and ask whether an outside supplier may complete an inspection at the property. If not, agree a nearby authorised space and a separate luggage transfer.

At handover, photograph paint, front splitter, wheels, tyres, glass, interior, fuel and odometer. The signed record should note every existing mark. Confirm return address, key transfer, refuelling, late procedure and any one-way collection. Neither terminal airside access nor entry through a restricted gate is implied by “delivery”.

Coordinate the vehicle with the wider stay using the Milan destination guide.

Self-drive or chauffeur

For self-drive, provide each person's age, residence, licence jurisdiction and tenure, together with the intended countries. A non-EU licence may need an International Driving Permit or official translation alongside the original, depending on the document and applicable Italian rules. The supplier and insurer can impose stricter standards and must approve every driver before payment.

A chauffeured Ferrari is a regulated passenger service distinct from self-drive hire. In a two-seat car, the chauffeur leaves a single client seat and very limited luggage space. It may suit a short arrival or ceremonial movement; a licensed executive saloon or support vehicle often fits airport bags, several passengers and continuous waiting better.

The offer should identify the authorised operator, commercial insurance, exact vehicle, seating, minimum hours, waiting, parking, Area C handling, overtime and operating territory. Cross-border chauffeur travel, close protection, a convoy, filming or branded display needs a separate brief and permissions.

Deposit and requirements

Before paying, require the legal supplier name and allocated registration plus an itemised rate, tax, delivery, deposit, damage excess, mileage, fuel, cleaning, additional drivers and late return. The agreement should address tyres, wheels, windscreen, roadside help, accident reporting, traffic notices, restricted-zone charges, cancellation and deposit release.

Define the territory. A Milan-only booking differs from a drive to Lake Como, Switzerland, France or Monaco, and every border must be permitted by the insurance and roadside network. ZTL entry, ferry use, unpaved roads, circuit use, professional photography and valet driving may have separate limits. Never interpret a large deposit as proof of complete insurance.

Event-week availability

During Milan Fashion Week, a Ferrari rental does not include show invitations, a vehicle credential, reserved entrance, loading access or parking. Venues are distributed across the city and may impose their own security and arrival windows. Plan legal stopping points and Area C treatment before selecting the car.

Design fairs, race-related dates, football matches and major exhibitions can affect premium fleet supply and hotel access. A requested colour, convertible or precise derivative narrows the field further. Reconfirm registration, live photographs, property permission, meeting point and operator contact before dispatch. Commercial display, branding and photography require owner, insurer, venue and organiser approval.

Area C, Area B and parking

Area C covers the historic centre and uses camera-controlled gates. Eligible vehicles generally need the correct ticket or exemption, while environmental eligibility is separate. Area B covers a much larger part of Milan and restricts certain vehicles; admitted vehicles do not pay an Area B access fee. The supplier should check the actual plate and state who handles Area C, rather than rely on the model name.

How It Works

  1. Send dates, airport or FBO, Milan addresses, route, countries, passengers, luggage and every driver's documents.
  2. REQUEST VIP checks for a named vehicle, current photographs and written Italian terms.
  3. Approve model, delivery, insurance, deposit, excess, mileage, territory, Area C treatment and parking.
  4. After supplier confirmation, the concierge coordinates inspection, handover, operational support and return.
