Why do private jets use Paris–Le Bourget?
Le Bourget (LBG) is the city’s specialist business-aviation airport. Its multiple FBOs provide separate passenger handling, while the platform also supports maintenance and other aviation services. Groupe ADP’s current published framework prohibits jet take-offs from 22:15 to 06:00, alongside restrictions on reverse thrust and use of a runway by aircraft over 5.7 tonnes during that window. The operator must interpret the rules for the actual arrival or departure.
A dinner, show or event finishing late should therefore be planned before the outbound flight is confirmed. An arrival may not imply that a late-night departure is possible. An alternative airport or next-morning movement changes road time, aircraft positioning, crew and cost, all of which belong in the written proposal.
