REQUEST VIP coordinates New York Fashion Week access enquiries with accommodation, cars, dining and a practical city schedule. The CFDA’s preliminary official Spring/Summer 2027 calendar runs 10–15 September 2026, with several presentations on 9 September. Every invitation, seat and private event remains subject to organiser or designer terms, approval and current availability.
Key Facts
- The preliminary official NYFW schedule runs Thursday 10 through Tuesday 15 September 2026.
- Several designers present on 9 September, immediately before the formal week begins.
- Shows, presentations and appointments use multiple venues; the address and entry procedure are event-specific.
Show invitations and presentations
The CFDA manages the Official NYFW Schedule, but each designer controls its event and guest decisions. The preliminary September calendar includes runway shows, presentations, appointments and digital releases. A guest-list confirmation for one entry does not operate as an all-week badge, and it cannot be assumed to cover an evening event or another designer.
Rank the wish list by creative interest and timing. Current designer pages include Carolina Herrera, Coach, Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren and Tory Burch. Ralph Lauren and Coach are among names scheduled on 9 September, while the formal calendar launches on 10 September. Times and formats should be checked against the latest official release before every confirmation. For cross-city access rules and related services, use the Fashion Week hub.
Provide legal names, mobile numbers, party size and a concise professional or client context where relevant. Designer and organiser approval can be individual; a plus-one is not implied unless shown on the confirmation.
Front row and the meaning of a confirmed seat
Front row is controlled placement, not a standard public ticket. Designers may prioritise editors, buyers, ambassadors, talent, clients and partners, and seating charts can move until show time. A legitimate proposal must distinguish entry from a named seat, stated section or hosted attendance. REQUEST VIP will not translate an unverified “VIP” label into a front-row guarantee.
The confirmation owner should carry matching identification and follow the specified check-in instructions. Late arrival may mean loss of entry even when a name appears on the list. If a requested placement is unavailable, alternatives can include a confirmed presentation, a showroom appointment or a different designer whose time fits the itinerary.
Brand dinners and after-parties
NYFW evenings include designer dinners, magazine celebrations, sponsor activations, collection launches and independently produced parties. They do not share a single central guest list. A runway invitation is not proof of after-party access, and a restaurant or nightlife booking is not an invitation from a designer.
Every evening offer should identify the host, admission method, venue disclosure timing, arrival window, plus-one rules and any dress or age condition. Addresses may remain private until the event. Do not circulate confidential details. Where access stays pending, keep a confirmed dinner and transport fallback instead of structuring the entire night around speculation.
Hotels and chauffeurs across New York
Venues can span Manhattan and Brooklyn, and crosstown travel can take longer than distance suggests. Use the New York destination guide to select a base with sensible airport and event access. A hotel next to one venue may be inconvenient for the rest of the calendar; room readiness, cancellation, garment handling and a reliable pickup point matter more.
A dedicated chauffeur creates continuity, but security perimeters, loading restrictions, weather and traffic still determine the final drop-off. The live run sheet should show borough, exact entrance, target arrival, credential owner, guest contact, vehicle contact and a walking fallback. Avoid scheduling consecutive shows based only on published start times: exit queues and venue changes require margins.
For guests arriving internationally, place the first essential event well after the expected landing. Allow immigration, baggage, hotel check-in and styling time. If the week continues in London, Milan or Paris, compare fashion-calendar dates before issuing non-changeable transport.
A transparent NYFW proposal
An access line should name the designer, event format, date, time, issuer category, guest names, delivery method and inclusions. The hotel line should state room, taxes, occupancy and cancellation. The chauffeur line should state service window, vehicle type, overtime and borough limitations.
REQUEST VIP is an independent concierge and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or an official partner of the CFDA, NYFW or participating designers. The CFDA and designers retain all schedule, invitation, accreditation, seating and admission decisions.
