A Pershing yacht charter brief often begins with performance, but a credible booking starts with a named commercial vessel. REQUEST VIP can compare authorised options after its access is verified. Model-page speed, factory layout and brand imagery remain context; the listed hull, licensed operator, fuel plan, sea conditions and signed agreement control what guests can actually do.
Key Facts
- Pershing currently presents X Generation, GTX Series and a superyacht platform on its official site.
- Builder performance figures are not promised charter speeds or travel times.
- A model designation does not confirm location, commercial licence, capacity, crew or availability.
- Fast itineraries need explicit fuel assumptions, safe-distance planning and a weather alternative.
Models: X Generation, GTX and Individual Hulls
The official Pershing model page, reviewed on 2 September 2026, lists 5X, 6X, 7X, 8X and 9X in X Generation. The GTX Series shows GTX70, GTX80, GTX90 and GTX116, while Pershing 140 appears as the superyacht. This is the builder’s product portfolio, not REQUEST VIP supply and not a register of yachts permitted to charter.
The GTX line is positioned around greater deck use and contact with the water, while X Generation preserves the brand’s performance-led sports-yacht identity. Official pages give 21.76 metres overall for GTX70 and 27.97 metres for the first GTX90 launched in July 2026. A recently launched model is particularly unlikely to have a broad charter pool; no GTX90 availability is claimed here.
Older Pershing models may appear in charter catalogues even when absent from the current factory navigation. That is not a defect, but it makes the individual record essential. Ask for registered name, exact model, build and material refit years, length, flag, fresh photographs, present deck plan, equipment and commercial documents.
Charter Destinations, Speed and Route Discipline
A French Riviera yacht charter can suit a performance-yacht request, but several ports on a map do not become a viable day. Manoeuvring, harbour limits, guest comfort, fuel, sea state and waiting time reduce the distance available. For Monaco yacht charter, specify the exact embarkation arrangement, since berth, tender pickup and road transfer are different plans.
On a Sardinian itinerary, Porto Cervo yacht charter is planning context rather than proof of a local Pershing. Confirm delivery and redelivery, berth or anchorage, repositioning charge, legal operating area and any cross-border limits. A mainland-based yacht may require non-guest delivery days before the charter.
Never turn advertised maximum speed into an arrival promise. Factory estimates depend on specification and test conditions; an existing hull also carries its own load, maintenance state and refit. The captain chooses safe speed and may alter the route for wind, visibility, traffic or official direction. If one restaurant, flight or event time is critical, build a land-transfer fallback.
Sizes and Performance-Yacht Comfort
Select by how the party will use the vessel rather than by the largest badge. On a sports yacht, check forward-facing seats while underway, shade, wind and noise exposure, handholds, deck transitions and the distance between interior and bathing area. At anchor, review dining positions, sun protection, water access and the real tender or toy-launch method.
For nights aboard, obtain cabin measurements, bed types, bathrooms, storage, ventilation, stabilisation and crew separation from the current yacht specification. Factory capacity cannot establish commercial cruising or sleeping limits. The operator’s papers and contract must state the lawful numbers for that hull and jurisdiction.
High performance does not imply unrestricted range. Fuel reserve, sea state, speed profile, marina access and schedule all influence the route. Water toys, beach platform, Wi-Fi and audiovisual systems must appear on a dated inventory. A photograph from the builder or a previous charter cannot verify present equipment or condition.
Weekly/Day Rates Where Available
No Pershing availability or rate card has been verified for REQUEST VIP. A day quote must define hours, marina, crew, route, fuel calculation, delivery, catering, equipment, port costs, overtime, security deposit, cancellation and the weather remedy.
Fuel can materially change the total on a performance-oriented route. Compare proposals at the same distance, speed assumption and hours instead of dividing a headline rate. The day yacht charter guide helps reveal exclusions that a short advertisement omits.
Weekly terms add delivery and redelivery, provisioning, overnight ports, guest accommodation and variable expenses. The weekly charter overview explains these moving parts. A MYBA-style form may list fee, APA, delivery costs and deposit separately, but another agreement may apply. Read the actual cancellation, insurance, breakdown and expense-accounting clauses, and independently confirm the receiving account.
The parent yacht charter service provides the broader due-diligence path. REQUEST VIP is independent of Pershing and Ferretti Group; it is not their dealer, charter desk or endorsed partner. A named operator’s contract controls service delivery.
How It Works
- Provide coast, dates, guests, day or weekly use, desired Pershing model or size, route priorities and budget range.
- Receive with named yachts, authorised listing source, current base, real specification and aligned quotes.
- Check commercial permission, capacity, route feasibility, fuel, tax, delivery, payment safeguards, cancellation and weather terms.
- Sign the operator agreement, then finalise manifest, preferences, transfers and a programme accepted by the captain.
