REQUEST VIP coordinates catamaran charter in Ibiza for west-coast days, Formentera crossings and overnight Balearic routes. Send dates, guests, cabins and sailing or power preference; the concierge can verify the commercial catamaran, legal capacity, crew, marina and captain-approved buoy plan. Supply, rates, protected-water access and weather require written confirmation.

Key Facts

  • Ses Salines Natural Park includes over 14,000 hectares of marine area between Ibiza and Formentera.
  • Anchoring on Posidonia oceanica is generally prohibited throughout Balearic waters.
  • A catamaran's beam affects marina and regulated-buoy suitability independently of length.

Available Yachts, Rates and Embarkation Ports

Compare sailing and power catamarans through exact model, commercial registration, current photographs, length, beam, draught and layout. Check day and night capacities, cabins, shaded cockpit, washrooms, swim ladders and crew quarters. A broad deck does not increase the licensed passenger limit.

Ibiza Town, Sant Antoni and Santa Eulària serve different island sectors. A broad catamaran may not fit the berth assumed from length alone, and a tender may be required. The offer must give marina, gate, map pin, guest time and documents. The parent Ibiza yacht charter page explains the local framework.

REQUEST VIP needs before publication. Compare fee, Spanish tax, fuel, delivery, berth, buoy, tender, crew, provisions, beverages, toys, overtime, deposit, weather and cancellation.

Itinerary Ideas, Crew and Water Toys

A west-coast day can focus on Cala Bassa, Cala Conta or the Cala d'Hort and Es Vedrà sector, subject to protected-area rules. A southern programme may use Cala Jondal and Ses Salines. Formentera requires a crossing through Es Freus and a lawful buoy or anchoring plan. Do not make all sectors compulsory in one day.

Confirm captain, deck and service crew, meal format, dietary deadline, shade and child lifejackets. Toys are included only by written inventory. Licences, instructors, guest ages, protected areas and the captain can restrict them. .

Beam, Buoys and Posidonia

Balearic regulations prohibit anchoring on Posidonia, while regulated buoy fields use assigned moorings in locations including Ses Salines, S'Espalmador and Caló de s'Oli. The operator must check catamaran dimensions against the buoy category and current allocation. A booking at a restaurant cannot create a buoy.

If a field is full or conditions change, the captain needs another lawful sandy-bottom or marina option permitted by current rules. The route should preserve alternatives rather than depend on a single anchorage. Never describe S'Espalmador or Ses Salines as an unrestricted stop.

Ask for the proposed buoy field, backup sector and decision time in the itinerary notes. Beam and length can affect suitability, while arrival order does not itself guarantee an assignment. A clear fallback protects meal timing and keeps the day useful without pressuring the captain to anchor on protected seabed.

Layout and Guest Comfort

Inspect shaded area at the real guest count, foredeck seating, saloon ventilation, cabin headroom, beds, ensuite access and crew circulation. For swimming, check the actual ladder, platform and tender. Twin hulls offer another space profile but do not eliminate motion in Es Freus or open western water.

Provide mobility needs, child ages, non-swimmers, pets and luggage before payment. Outside catering, security staff, entertainers and extra visitors need operator consent and may affect capacity or insurance.

Contract and Island Handover

Match exact catamaran, operator, flag, commercial status, insurance, dimensions, capacities, crew, hours or dates, embarkation and redelivery. Record fuel, tax, delivery, marina, buoy, tender, provisions, drinks, toys, transfers, overtime, deposit, damage, cancellation and weather.

Compare an Ibiza day yacht for a short product, an Ibiza motor yacht for another pace or an Ibiza superyacht for expanded service. The Ibiza destination page can align the shore stay.
