Four Seasons Voavah Private Island VIP Booking

Voavah is a true buyout. Confirm sole guest use of accommodation, Beach House, pools, spa, jetty and included yacht for the contracted period, while preserving necessary staff, safety and maintenance access. Ask the island plan to label private and operational spaces.

Bedroom allocation matters: the Beach Villa holds three bedrooms, the Water Villa two, and the Beach House two Mezzanine Suites. Official pages currently give 20, 21 or 22 guests. Obtain a named manifest, age rules, bedding and event limit rather than selecting the highest number.

The access page says up to six client staff may use two en-suite rooms by the Beach House. Confirm occupancy treatment, meals, transport and access.

Seaplane access and international connections

Four Seasons currently gives two gateways: approximately 35 minutes by seaplane from Velana International Airport and 20 minutes from Maafaru International Airport. The property lists an eight-seat VIP Flying Triggerfish and a standard 14-seat seaplane, with a published allowance of 20 kg per person.

An eight-seat aircraft cannot move a 20-plus guest buyout in one load. Require named aircraft, rotations, baggage distribution, CIP, handlers and arrival order. Four Seasons requests passport copies in advance for its published Malé CIP process. A private jet charter still needs its own operator and slot.

Protect the outbound flight with weather and rotation buffers. Ask whether a speedboat is a priced fallback; the booking cannot override aviation or marine safety decisions.

Yacht, team and suitable groups

Voavah suits an extended family, private celebration or leadership retreat. Seven bedrooms still govern privacy, so map couples, children and assistants. Review water-villa access, open edges, pools and boats for children and reduced mobility.

For the 19-metre yacht, define operating area, hours, crew, fuel, food, activities, weather limits and substitution. A separate yacht charter is not automatically included. Agree island-team roles for the programme.

What the Island Rate says—and what it excludes

The official enquiries page says the Island Rate varies by season and includes accommodation for up to 22 guests, yacht use within Baa Atoll, water sports, diving, fishing, most activities and excursions, plus airport CIP. The same page lists full-board meals, alcohol, seaplane or speedboat transfers, spa treatments, PADI courses, surf excursions, kite surfing and special entertainment or decoration as additional costs.

Reproduce the wording in the contract: “most activities” is not an itemised schedule, and weather or qualifications may prevent one. The VIP hotel benefits guide separates inclusions, concessions and pending requests.

Monsoon, health access and cancellation

Official Maldives climate guidance places the wetter southwest monsoon normally from mid-May through November, with January–March drier and April/December transitional. Four Seasons notes wet-season mosquito measures and natural occurrences such as plankton. Request the current operational briefing rather than promise a particular sea state or wildlife encounter.

Voavah publishes a doctor on call and Landaa Clinic about 20 minutes away, not a medical guarantee. Ask for evacuation, insurance and emergency contacts. Cancellation must coordinate island, aircraft and separately contracted suppliers.
